Thank you to all 150th Anniversary sponsors—

It's not every day that the state's flagship university and one of its most valuable assets turns 150. To celebrate all that's been accomplished and even greater things to come, we planned an entire year's worth of activities and events. To bring many of the events and projects to fruition, we turned to our corporate and university friends for their support. We thank all of those who stepped forward in support of this great university. Without your contributions, we would never have been able to accomplish so much, and reach out to so many people. Thank you for being a part of this very special occasion in the life of our great university.

Sincerely,
Dr. James Harris
Dean, College of Arts and Humanities and
Chair of the 150th Anniversary Planning Committee

Keeping the Promise Documentary Video Sponsor
In the last 150 years, the University of Maryland has evolved from a tiny private agricultural college into one of the nation's leading public universities. Keeping the Promise: The Rise of the University of Maryland takes us on that incredible journey. Special thanks to Nelnet for its generous support.
•Charter Day Sponsor
In celebration of our 150th Anniversary and the official Charter Date of the university, we threw ourselves one big birthday party. It took place on Monday, March 6 complete with music, interactive games and displays, a souvenir photo booth, cupcakes, popcorn and more. We thank Lockheed Martin for its support, which helped make this celebration possible.
•Additional Charter Day Support
Thanks to Apple who provided us with 12 computer work stations for our Predict the Next Big Idea interactive event and for the iTunes gift cards that were used for student giveaways.
Thanks also to Chipotle who donated 200 gift cards for student giveaways.
•Moving Pictures Photography Exhibit
This past fall, the University of Maryland kicked off its year-long anniversary celebration with the Moving Pictures: Maryland at 150 Years photographic exhibit featuring contemporary photos of the university by University Photographer John Consoli and archival images from University Archives. Thanks to Ritz Camera for its in-kind processing of the images featured in the exhibit.
